My theme for September is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). You might think that I'm a little early, but we've all noticed that the days are getting much shorter. If you are prone to SAD, I bet you are already anticipating the coming months.


As we roll into autumn, and the mornings are darker, many people notice a shift in their mood and energy levels. This is sometimes called the “winter blues,” and for some, it can be more intense, known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).


While it’s a common experience, it doesn’t have to hold you back. There are simple, supportive steps you can take to feel more balanced and positive during the winter months. Getting outside for natural light, keeping a regular sleep routine, and connecting with others can all make a difference.
