I loved this quote as soon as I saw it! It really sums up how I work as a hypnotherapist and how we can change the way we view the world. A hypnotherapy session always starts with me asking clients 'what's been good?'.


The road to healing ALWAYS starts with reminding us to look for the positives in life. When life isn't going well for us, negative thinking takes over, and from there it's very easy to become overwhelmed and to no longer see any positives at all. We can easily find ourselves in a very dark place.


Hypnotherapy can really help, but so can these simple activities:


  • Review your sleep and research good sleep hygiene

  • Look for the things that give you happiness, and take a moment to really appreciate them

  • Be kind to yourself, particularly the way you talk about yourself and how you treat yourself. Avoid negative language and give yourself a well-deserved treat.
