During May, I'm going to talk about phobias.

You may have a fear of spiders, small spaces, heights, crowds, dogs, storms, injections or public speaking. This isn't a comprehensive list.

I've previously suffered with a fear of flying, and with a driving phobia, so I know how life limiting a phobia can be. Although I'd previously been nervous about both of these things, and lacking in confidence, menopause and a series of traumatic events made by nervousness something much more serious. When flying, I would be terrified not only during the flight but also for days beforehand. My driving phobia was so severe that I didn't drive on dual carriageways for many years.

I'll be talking about how I was able to overcome my phobias, and how hypnotherapy has helped clients over the coming month. In the meantime, I'll share the NHS guidance on phobias, and if you cant wait for my next post, please feel free to get in touch,
