You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” ~Christopher Robin

I thought I'd give a mention to anxiety in children. Here's what the NHS has to say about it:

Hypnotherapists generally need additional training before working with children, and hypnotherapy can be effective from about age 8. Before this age, we'd generally work with the parents. It's just another question to asks your potential hypnotherapist, along with finding out about their qualifications, professional memberships, how their work is supervised, how they maintain their skills, insurance, etc.

As with adults, we'd work on improving sleep and in increasing positivity and finding solutions to issues. The way that we do this is modified to be age appropriate. Our brains are not fully developed until about age 25, and so in young/very young people the decision making and rationalising functions of the brain are not really in place. This is why children don't see danger and respond with fear or anger, or become anxious and/or withdrawn when 'bad' things happen.

I'm happy to explain further if your child is struggling.
