So if we accept that negative thinking and an over-full stress bucket disrupt healthy and productive sleep, let's talk a little about how poor sleep manifests itself.
There are a number of scenarios, and i've already mentioned waking in the night and being unable to return to sleep or waking up tired and/or depressed. Other symptoms might be sleep walking, sleep talking or even sleep paralysis. These are further signs of our brain trying to empty an over-full stress bucket and of disrupted dreaming. Hypnotherapy can really help with disrupted sleep, but I'm also happy to signpost information from the NHS.
